Description

Security Pole is the most portable full body metal detector available worldwide. For the majority of applications, It is used operationally as a walk-by, single pole detection system.

Unlike conventional metal detectors, this Portable Security Pole is entirely passive and so there are no health and safety concerns when considering scanning subjects on public streets overtly or covertly. It has no effect on electronic devices such as pacemakers and is harmless to pregnant women. There can be no objection from subjects to being scanned on health grounds, It is also non-contact and non-intrusive. It is a ferromagnetic detection system which can be thought of as a ferrous only metal detector and so it will not false alarm on silver coins and other non-ferrous metallic objects. The majority of common knives and guns do contain enough ferromagnetic signature to be easily detected by Security Pole. Compared to typical conventional archway metal detectors It has increased sensitivity to small ferrous blades.
